Summer!

Well, it's summer already!

God was that last semester of school grueling. I did a bit of new stuff in Intermediate Photo, however, only a few of it is on the gallery. Not all of it will probably make it online as I forgot to scan a lot of my pieces before coming home! Maybe I'll put them up next semester.

Anyway, my final project for the class is up now. It called the Kaleidoscope Project. Check it out.

"Hindsight" in its 11x14 print version is on view at the Rosenberg Gallery at Goucher College until the end of the month. I think that's pretty cool. =)

So summer time! Yay! Hopefully lots of photography will ensue. I'm also working on editing a short documentary a shot this past semester.

Israel

Tue Feb 6, 2007, 8:44 AM
  • Listening to: "Call Me" by Blondie
  • Reading: "Freedom's Daughters" by Lynne Olson
  • Playing: on Photoshop CS2
  • Eating: Bagel & cream cheese
  • Drinking: Northwest Blackberry Organic Tea
I'm back from my trip to Israel!

Expect some digital photos sometime this month.

Also, Rachel and I are being featured in the next issue of The Goucher Review for last semester's photography exhibit and auction that we organized. The Accordion Man will be displayed in the magazine.

Right now I'm trying to work on my Identity assignment. It's proving to be difficult as I'm not so sure how I'm going to portray my identity through images. I've never had this much trouble trying to complete an assignment. I feel that Intermediate Photography is going to bite me in the ass.

Anyway, expect a few photos from Israel soon. I'm going to try and keep this thing a little more updated.

New Work Up, finally.

Tue Jan 2, 2007, 10:56 PM
After a long semester, I've finished my Basic Photography class (and passed with an A-)!

All the work I completed this semester is now available for viewing in my gallery. Each piece is 8x10 on Pearl Paper and was developed and printed by me. Hard work, jeeze! =P

I'm starting to realize I love shooting film more than digital these days.

Let me know what you think of the new stuff. All criticism is welcome, it'll help me improve. =)

Museum!

Fri Oct 13, 2006, 10:38 PM
I submitted a few pieces to Walters Museum's College Night themed "The Transient Modern Landscape." I'm happy to say that they accepted the piece "Nina" for the exhibit.

I'm psyched.

35mm Project

Wed Aug 9, 2006, 7:14 PM
So I took a summer course on 35mm Black & White. It was my first time shooting film and I LOVE it.

The work I've done this summer is going to be going up bit-by-bit. Hopefully I'll add a few more each day. Tomorrow through Tuesday I'll be in Montreal shooting some more stuff, but I'll still have internet access.

Let me know what you think of the new batch. The feel of these photos are slightly different than my other works.
